A Roman-esque fantasy army attacked the capital, but were quickly defeated. Now, this kingdom will feel the full wrath of the free imperial eagle. This fic is inspired by multiple other works. They are forced to live inside the "Domes" where they are protected from the harmful elements scattered across the world. As the sun began to set over the sprawling city of Los Angeles, chaos ensued. A massive medieval gate had mysteriously appeared, defying all logic and opening a portal to a world of knights, castles, and mythical creatures. The inhabitants of this strange realm poured out, wreaking havoc on the unsuspecting city. In response, the United States military swiftly mobilized its forces, recognizing the urgent need for a specialized unit to combat this unprecedented threat. The 75th Ranger Regiment, renowned for their exceptional combat skills and adaptability, was chosen to lead the charge. Accompanying the Rangers were the 106th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), known as the Night Stalkers. This elite group of helicopter pilots specialized in nighttime operations and were instrumental in providing air support and transportation to the Rangers on the ground.

The year is 2030. The United States of America is enjoying a relative peace time. While there are still tensions around the world, the U.S. has managed to avoid any major conflicts. That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.
