After a disaster strikes the earth, teenagers are all that survive. But they develop strange and dangerous abilities that brand them as monsters. They're nicknamed the Freaks. Luca's a Freak like no other. When he turns eighteen, he's sentenced to death by a government sent from space, known as the Soldiers, to wipe the earth of the teens and start new, but the Freaks don't allow that. Luca is saved from execution by Freaks who bring him to safety, and there he finds not only food and shelter, but more like him surviving, when he thought they had all died. He's immediately given a task by the mysterious leader of the Freaks, and he's faced with two options: should he sit back and watch as his own are captured and killed by the enemy he's dealt with before, or should he risk everything - even his own life - to save them all?

Our favourite stories are about heroes, about good triumphing over evil. We want to hear epic tales of selfless people performing great deeds and overcoming insurmountable odds. If that's the kind of story you're expecting, then you'd best get back to whatever alternate dimension you came from. They call me Trig. I'm a bounty hunter. My line of work might not be particularly honourable, but for a cyber-human outcast with a sizable chip on her shoulder (specifically, several thousand microchips) it's the perfect fit. In a galaxy full of pirates, rebels and thieves, an abomination such as myself is considered more machine than girl. My bionic appendages make me the ideal killer, the best you could ever be unfortunate enough to meet. At least, that's what I thought up until the day I made a single, crucial mistake. Now, the inhabitants of some half-baked planet are singing my praises and calling me their saviour. I could get used to this new, cushy lifestyle if it weren't for a pissed-off former employer gunning for both my head and total planetary domination. The fate of the universe hangs in the balance. If ever there was a time for a hero, this would be it. But I already warned you, this isn't that kind of story.

The conclusion of The Runner series. ================================== Half a year has passed since the fall of Babel. In that time, tales of the Runner have drifted from truth into legend. There are stories of a thief who toppled an empire, whispers about a hero who sacrificed everything to free us from the iron grip of a madwoman. They say that the Runner is broken. They say that she is fearless. They say that no enemy stands a chance against her unstoppable army of warriors. They say that she fights because her veins run red with rebellion, but I know better. She fights because she has nothing left to lose.

Everyone in the After knows there's a curfew. It's an unspoken, unofficial rule that everyone follows. From eight at night until eight in the morning you had to be inside a secure shelter. Well, technically you didn't have to...but if you didn't you would either get killed, eaten, or dismembered to the point where you died before anyone found you. What killed you if you were out after curfew? Why, the Beasties of course. The After is after the bombing of the whole Earth. Only a few hundred survived, currently scattered throughout the world. Stella Thorn is one of those few. She lives in a Rubble City in what was known as California in the Before. She is finally starting to survive just fine, getting used to her way of life, creating a schedule, when a Wanderer comes to town. Will he change her life forever? Does he have secrets about the Bombing that no one could ever imagine? {SORRY, ON HOLD} **Highest Ranking #46 in Adventure as of 7/3/16** (somehow)

You. Sitting at your desk, or perhaps scrolling through your phone or slouching on the couch in your living room. You are so far ahead of this that you may not even relate in the slightest. But this. This was your corrupted beginning. Before the world was wiped fresh, this is what you were. ... It was the worst of times, it was the bes--... no, no, really, it really was the worst of times. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- Snippets is officially its own story. PLEASE (I would be on my knees except I'm kind of at my computer) comment, vote, TELL ME what you're thinking :) Because I KNOW you people think! And I LOVE that about you. And lastly? Enjoy... It's going to be quite an adventure ;) P.S. Snippets started as several separate story ideas I wrote down. Then one day I said, "Hey! Wouldn't it be cool if all of these could go together?" And well, here is the result! I know you won't be terribly disappointed, and if you are... well, I'm not a fancy company who can guarantee your reading-time back. I suppose I'll just have to do my best to not disappoint, eh? ... Challenge accepted ;)
