Bakugou gets diagnosed with leukemia- blood cancer. Since he doesn't have a donor, he doesn't see much reasoning in his life and turns away from anyone and anything that ever made him happy. Until one day, someone steps inside with a good message...

After feeling paranoid of someone or something following him, Kirishima gets dragged into the most cruel and terrifying experience I WAS NOT INSPIRED BY ANYTHING LMAO

At the age of four, Katsuki was cast aside by his parents and forced into the foster system because he was cursed with an unfortunate Quirk-Explosion-which happens to have negative connotations to it due to a villain in the past. His parents aren't the only ones who rejected him because of it, though; he's grown up without friends, with teachers and peers looking at him in fear no matter how hard they tried to hide it, and while he'd like to say he enjoyed being so lonely, that wasn't the case. Fortunately (though he might say otherwise if you asked, at least at first), one set of bright red eyes somehow managed to see past his Quirk and his rather abrasive attitude and can relate to him on a level he never expected. Years in the future, however, things aren't all sunshine and rainbows-in fact, they're far from it. Katsuki knows this, and no longer can he allow himself to drag the only person he's ever truly cared about through the mud with him.

Katsuki was really sick of the taste of flowers.

... It wasn't that he was annoyed. Okay, maybe he was a little annoyed, but that was because a certain explosive punk decided to test the flammability of his sheets at 2 in the morning. Alright description! So Kirishima likes Bakugou, but he's dense and doesn't get it. Stuff happens. Fluff happens too. But what happens when another certain person likes Bakugou too? The holiday season is supposed to be a happy and cheerful time, and for Kirishima and Bakugou, it was. That was until tragedy struck. (This takes place during their second year and Kirishima is now taller than Bakugou! I apologize for Baku getting very OOC, as well as the endless angst. I hope you enjoy it anyway!)

**IN THE PROCESS OF REWRITING** Katsuki Bakugo is a rebel, a loose canon a boy who will do anything to ensure his survival. That's the only way to describe the short tempered boy. After being caught in an unfortunate incident of theft he was thrown into a cold cell, fully prepared to sit in the miserable place until he were to rot, knowing that, despite his stubbornness, he had no chance of escaping. Kirishima Eijirou is much like Bakugo, a boy who isn't quite in the greatest of financial situations. Much different to our rebel Bakugo, Kirishima is kind- which he would claim to be manliness- and very much is an opposite in personality to Katsuki. Despite this, Kirishima can only do his best in the world he lives in and after a series of very unlucky accidents he is to- thrown in a cell. The land the two boys live in is unkind and ruled by a cruel King, one who gets pleasure by watching others pain. In a fit of cruelty this King throws the boys headfirst into a chain of fights for survival. The two must do their best to survive, and do, but what happens when the King noticed the friendship- and maybe more- blossoming between the boys. Will Bakugo live up to his standards of doing whatever it takes to survive or will he refuse? ----- Disclaimer- I do not own either of these characters or some of the characters within this story.
