What if Bella and Edward had twin girls instead of just having Renesmee?

What if at the end of breaking dawn pt 1, Jacob didn't imprint on Renesmee, and he is still in love with Bella when she awakes. What will happen to their relationship? Will they stay friends, or will there be more? Also, will Jacob imprint on someone?
