The black stain on your body is supposed to bring you to your eternal partner, or soulmate. It symbolizes where this person will touch you on your body when you meet for the first time. Unfortunately, Virgil has always been bullied for the black stain permanently stuck on his lips. It has brought him nothing but teasing and pain throughout his life. Others assume it is black lipstick at first, and then become aware it never comes off. This new information causes rumors to spread. Roman has always hidden the black stain that is barely visible on the palm of his hand. He has let only his closest friends see it. It too has brought suffering to him. A mark so light on easy to reach places like hands or arms usually means you'll brush past your soulmate in a crowd. For those stuck with this curse, they often times never meet the one meant for them. Patton has rarely ever seen his stain. The only reason he knew it existed was from infancy. His parents had told him it was on the top of his head in the shape of a hand. However, the bubbly male looses faith as he has never seen his own mark and doubts his soulmate would even realize it if they touched. Logan has never been good at emotions or understanding them. During the better part of his life, he worried about maintaining a healthy and fulfilling life. But he feels something is missing, or rather, someone. As he matures, Logan begins to worry that the stain covering his entire palm would turn out to be him physically harming his soulmate. Along with that comes the fear of missing his partner. It was his dominant hand, after all. He did everything with it.
