Every single Sans in the Undertale AUs know about Dream and Nightmare, after all, they used to be the protectors of the Tree of Feeling. If it weren't for them, then no one in any AU would feel any emotions, positive or negative. Dream was the most loved out of the two, it was quite self-explanatory as to why. Nightmare's reputation wasn't a great one, Ink, Blueberry and Dream constantly spread the word about this so-called 'dangerous' and 'heartless' skeleton. But do they really know who Nightmare is? What if I were to tell you that he isn't at all 'heartless' and has other Sanses he knows, treats like his children and would kill to protect? AHHHH- You are officially the ninth human to fall into the Underground, including Chara and Frisk. All you see are the remains of what used to be-the deserted buildings, the piles of dust scattered around...and a tattered red scarf you find on the ground. You pick it up, but soon find that you are not the only one left in the Underground. There is one last monster that survived, but just barely. He had escaped the death screen a long time ago, and managed to defeat Chara/Frisk, but now he has no way of leaving, and no way to relieve his suffering... That is, unless he kills you. However, once he has you in his grasp, he cannot find it within himself to kill you, an innocent. You FORGIVE him. An unsteady friendship forms from the ashes of what once was. He feels lost in the many mistakes of his past, and he can't get over them. But it's okay. You can look past them, and see the good inside of him. After all... You have the lilac soul.
