The year is 1899, somewhere in western America. Two rival gangs are butting heads, the O'Driscolls and the Van Der Linde gang, lead by two feuding ex-partners in crime. Pinkertons are closing in, working to eradicate gunslingers completely as their time in the wild west comes to an end. Ethel O'Driscoll, heir to the gang finds himself coming to terms with the fact that his father isn't actually a father and comes up with a plan to escape the stressful and unsureness of morality that comes with being an outlaw. However, he just manages to fall into the grasps of the opposite gang, captured by an older man named Cadence Hannery. Follow along as Ethel comes to terms with his history of abuse, build new relationships, and escape his own gilded birdcage. All with Cadence at his side, producing enough bickering between the two to last the rest of the gang for years to come.
