In a world where your soulmate's name is revealed on your wrist, Arthur is too dumb to realize Merlin is the " Emrys " on his arm. Thus, Arthur hires a new, pretty, female manservant as to court her. Therefore, he begins distancing himself from Merlin (unintentionally of course). Not only is it hurting Merlin, it is risking Arthur's life. Especially when branches stop falling on bandits heads and Arthur is the bandits' target. NOTE: dang this is #11 in merlinxarthur rn as of may 19, 2018 so thank u guys!!

As Arthur embarks on this journey with several knights from both his kingdom and the fallen, Arthur realizes something extraordinary. The kingdom has a lost prince. Merlin and Arthur have become closer than ever, and Arthur shared some of his most secret opinions. Will Merlin be accepted, or will be rejected? sorry the descriptions sucks but its good I swear.

Winter falls on Camelot. It falls to Merlin to keep Arthur company as the search for Morgana becomes increasingly desperate. 6000 words, Merlin/Arthur. Set in the break between series 2 & 3. I had to make a judgement call on whether we’re dealing with Yule or Christmas in this Merlin verse. I went with Yule (there was reasoning, but I won’t bore you with it). Chapter beginnings taken from Doubt Comes In, by Anais Mitchell, from my favourite album this year Hadestown (it’s a folk opera about Orpheus and Eurydice - so that’s the very definition of not for everyone but its weird and creepy and awesome)

In this AU, Merlin has stumbled through the centuries alone, clinging desperately to the hope that, one day, the Once and Future King will rise again, when Albion needs him most. Which is all very well and good, except Merlin has been through personal hells, each one worse than the last, so he begins to dread the catastrophe that will finally reunite them. This is Merlin's third time being blind. The previous two were self-inflicted, because of the disguises they offered. No one bothers an old blind man during the Salem Witch Trials. No one suspects a little girl with lopsided pigtails during wartime. People are so tied up with their own issues that the ill-meaning ignored him and the kind offered him very little. But this time was different. There was another war, there were too many things happening at once, and there was a bomb. Merlin woke up to a black screen. He hasn't bothered to change it back. What's the point in seeing if the world's still dark?

What will happen when the young Pendragon discovers his feelings for his man-servant? What will happen when Merlin builds up the courage to tell Arthur his secret?
