Hiccup and Toothless were patrolling the village of Berk after Dagar and his men attacked the night before. The two entered a cave and heard a small cry around a corner deeper into the cave. When they looked inside, they noticed a tiny Night Fury hatchling, who was crying for his/her mother. The two decide to take the small dragon in, to see how the older dragon would do as a parent, and still be the alpha. This is my first "X Reader" story, so forgive me if I make some mistakes
