"For a writer, you're a very bad liar."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Bucking her
head forward and slitting her eyes, she asks.
"Aren't writers supposed to be persuasive?"
"Shouldn't writers have the power to persuade
readers with their words?" She tilted her head
and hummed in thought. "Well, yes, but that
doesn't completely mean we know how to lie, at
least verbally." She shook her head lightly,
explaining. Michael shrugged, happy with her
answer. "Lying, in a way, is an art form, " she
began. Michael arched his perfectly groomed
brow in amusement.
"It takes practice to recognize what people want
and be able to give them that without ever
having to tell a lie, simply telling them what
they wanna hear, which is being persuasive."

Met you on a Saturday
Knew it was somethin' soon as you spoke it
Eye fucking across the table, don't think anybody noticed
You asked me if I was coming to city you from
Maybe we should kick it, I was interested
That would be dumb, if I denied......
