This is a rewrite of A Chance To Trust, in progress. Little Danny Fenton got his powers at a remarkably young age at the cost of his family, the GIW get him soon after. A few years later Danny is 9 and still suffering at the hands of the Guys In White, until a certain Bat comes and rescues him. Now Bruce has to deal with a young terrified mislabeled metahuman who is a lot stronger than he looks and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what anyone is feeling. The GIW, on the other hand, can't let their lab rat heal and save the Ghost Zone they've been working so hard to take over. Things just got a little more spooky in Wayne Manor. Of course, people often come to Amity to see the alleged 'Ghost Boy,' although nobody is sure weather or not he is truly a hero, or if he just seems that way. So, when none-other than the Bruce Wayne comes to town to investigate, Danny finds himself in more trouble than he'd originally thought.

When Daniel Fenton was 4, his quirk, Ghost, manifested, but a year later, when Vlad Masters, billionaire and secret king of a unknown country filled with people with quirks, learned that a child born from a man he hates and a woman he loves has the same quirk as him, he kidnaps him then later kills the entire family and made Daniel his heir, the prince. 9 years later, Danny is finally able to escape from the country, Ghostzone, but doesn't know what to do next. Could a certain hero with constant bags under his eyes be his ticket to a new life?

He isn't surprised that he could do magic thanks to his ghost side, but Hiding your ghost half at Hogwarts isn't easy especially when you are assigned to a whole new house no one has ever heard of in thousands of years. Can Danny handle the strain of his double life with no Sam or Tucker? How can he hide the respect that the ghosts show him and call him Sir Daniel or Sir Phantom? Will anyone piece both halves of him together? What about the Chamber of secrets? What about Whiskers? -Danny became half Ghost at 8 instead of 14 everything else has happened including Phantom Planet but Danny wasn't revealed- Danny always thought thought that when thing levitated around him it was just ghosts. His parent had thought the same. Danny's thoughts didn't change when he became half ghost, now believing that along with accidentally and partially turning invisible from time to time he was also making things float. That is until a woman dressed like it was Halloween quite literally appeared out of no where in the Fenton's living room. "Sir, are you aware you are a wizard?" And what does Earwax have to do with anything?

Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat.
