Clarissa Morgenstern was raised by her abusive father Valentine who is planning to take over the clave. Clary had a brother that was the same age as her, he was taken with her mother Jocelyn Fairchild. But that was her mistake, she believed she took the child that had no demon blood and took the one with the angel blood but she was wrong. She left Clary and took Jonathan with her and never seen them again well until Clary had a mission at the age of 17. Valentine wanted the mortal cup and knew it was hidden in New York some where. So she was meant to attend to Shadowhunter high with others. She used a fake identity and had to find the cup. But they never realized her cover could be blown by her family. Clary was brainwashed by her father and hates the clave and believes what Valentine is doing is right. With the help of people around her will Clary be the Angel she was meant to be or side with her father? Will Jonathan side with Valentine or take matters into his own hands?

My names Clarissa Adele Morgenstern, but my friends all normally call me Clary. Just recently my mother and father filed for a divorce. Which meant me and my big brother, Jonathan, both got the choice to choose who we wanted to live with. Our mother was staying in Chicago, which is where both of us were raised, well our father will be moving to New York, where he got a new and better job offer. Me and my brother are almost like twins, we share the same room and are always attached to the hip, we do everything together. But I don't feel at home here, i don't think i ever did. We are the most popular people in our high school and are respected, like leaders. But I have decided to move with my father away from my friends and family and popularity.
