Recovered by the Office of Naval Intelligence, Spartan B-312 is given another assignment. This one hidden behind black ink and secrecy. His mission, to cover up a Project tasked with using experimental equipment to make the next generation of super soldiers. But there seems to be more hidden behind all that black ink than his assignment. Completing this assignment may prove to be less black and white than it was made out to be. Especially as Noble Six starts to uncover secrets that were supposed to be destroyed with Reach. Now it's up to him to discover the truth. Black ink can only go so deep. But the golden trio keep persisting that the new students are up to no good. They make the secret terribly hard to keep.
