Ever since her mother was murdered by humans, Rachel has been afraid to trust anyone, much less a human. It's forbiddin that a mermaid and a human fall in love, but it happened to her, when a cute surfer named Will saves her. At first she's scared, but she learns not all humans are evil. Pluse with her 20th year coming up, will she be able to act on these feelings she's having? Or will their forbiddin love be lost forever? I'm still proud of the story it self, and I have tried to rewrite it, but have run into writer's block every time. Please take this story with a grain of salt.
