In a world where Sesame Street is corrupted by drugs, violence, and crime, two outlaws named Bert and Ernie must rob the most protected bank in the city in order to finally be set for life. However, doing so is much more difficult that it sounds. They first widen their circle of trust, get their hands dirty, and make a few sacrifices along the way if they want a chance at getting into Henson Bank.

Ernie The Puppet has been living with Bert for many years. He took an awful lot of bubble baths and messed with anything Bert gave him. One day Ernie is taken from his apartment, forced to live life outside, striving for purpose to fill the deep hole in his heart that Bert and Rubber Duckie once filled. Bert spirals into a deep depression, knowing he couldn't rescue his roommate. Ernie is lost, never to be found again.
