Steven didn't know how it happened but now here he was, in a locked bedroom, with no way out. Steven knew that the city was torn between two sides, Crystal Gems versus the Diamonds. So since he thought he lived and worked on neutral territory, he never thought he'd be taken from his friends and family, and now be in the possession of the Diamonds.

Steven runs into an cute, odd girl who just moved into Beach City. Steven's not the only with his own problems. The title cover shows what Human Spinel looks like Also Spinel is the same age as Steven (16) The story takes place during the beginning of Fragments after Steven runs away from the gems. Like literally as soon as he leaves the house. Gotta go fast. I'll stop. Just to clarify, Steven Universe The Movie never happened. I thought of just introducing another gem instead of Spinel but nah. I'm lazy. I'd rather not go into detail about this one in the description. I just hope you all will find it enjoyable to read.

set before Steven Universe the Movie, during the time Steven stayed with the diamonds. Steven takes advantage of the newly repaired galaxy warp, and wishes to escape the drudgery of diplomacy, but instead of a tropical paradise he is taken to a rotted garden and a mysterious pink gem.

After a misunderstanding with the diamonds, and ultimately being abandoned for a second time, Spinel heads back to Earth! And with her arrival back to Earth brings urgent and vital information about Homeworld. Will Steven and the gems be able to cheer up Spinel and solve the new problem infesting Homeworld? PS. This is my first fan fic, so please don't hate me if I mis-spell a bit :)

Spinel returns to Earth to visit Steven for a month. She realizes that she has a crush on the savior of the galaxy and decides to confess after he seems to share similar signs. They end up becoming official, but Connie isn't too joyous about their upbringing. She runs off and temporarily gives Steven the silent treatment. Besides dates, cuddles, and emotional conversations, Steven and Spinel have a whole new problem awaiting them when they get a message from a gem saying that White Diamond is wreaking havoc on Homeworld. Unbeknownst to them, they will be facing a threat greater than the Diamonds themselves. It had been 2 Years prior to what happened with Spinel. Things on earth had been peaceful, Yet alot had changed alot overall. Population lowered, businesses closed, ect. Steven is now 18 years old and still lives with the gems, they are like family to him. Steven and Spinel had also became really close friends. Close enough so that a certain pink gem started crush on Steven. (Also this is an alternate universe where gems can have children and live where rose died while giving birth to Steven and he survived and they gave him her gem)
