Mare is al altijd bang van de zee. Op zeeklassen zal ze haar eerste aanval van een monster krijgen. Haar beste vriend Bruce wie blijkbaar een sater was bracht haar naar kamp halfbloed. Een kamp voor halfgoden. Daar zal ze erkent worden als de dochter van Poseidon. Maar dat kan toch helemaal niet? Ze haat de zee! . Dan krijgt ze een rare droom over iemand die ze van de Griekse mythologie klas op school herkent: de godin Artemis die wordt vervloekt... . . Dit verhaal is gebaseerd op mijn angst die ik al altijd heb gehad voor de zee. Alleen heb ik het in dit verhaal tien maal verdubbeld. Dit verhaal gaat dan ook over de vraag: Wat als een kind van een zeegod helemaal niet van de zee houdt? Wat als de godin Artmis vervloekt wordt? Een vloek die tegen alles in gaat waar Artemis voor staat...
