¿Has oído hablar de los países ocultos? ¿No? Entonces te contaré una historia. Hace mucho tiempo aparecieron por primeras vez seres que manipulaban una extraña energía llamada "Chakra", con la cual podían hacer muchas cosas, como el caminar por las paredes, o clonarse a si mismos. Esas personas fueron señaladas por la sociedad, teniendo que escapar a territorios prohibidos para ponerse salvo. Durante años vivieron en "paz" hasta que en China, en el pueblo de Keikei, nació un bebé luminicente, sin que los médicos pudieran esa anormalidad. Poco a poco casos de ese tipo fueron registrándose alrededor de todo el mundo. Presas del miedo culparon a los ahora llamados Shinobis. Los humanos comenzaron a adentrarse en los territorios prohibidos pata cazar a aquellos que tuvieran la habilidad llamada "Chakra". Hubo muchas bajas en ese entonces, tanto de personas comunes, como de Shinobis. Dos personas, que recién habían fundado su propia aldea intervinieron, y lograron sacar a todo aquel que no perteneciera a ese lugar, colocando una barrera de protección a lo largo de todo el territorio para protegerlos. Desde entonces nadie entra o sale del lugar. Aquello dio pie a varios mitos y leyendas, entre ellas las más comunes "Los Shinobis asesinan por diversion" La barrera no sería atravesada por nadie hasta casi medio siglo después.
