***2016 WATTY AWARD WINNER - VORACIOUS READS*** WINNER OF THE FICTION AWARDS 2016 - HISTORICAL FICTION Against all odds, Libby Marks-Whelan is back at court - and no longer confined to the service corridors as a lady-in-waiting. With the start of the new Winter Season, however, the competition for a crown just got a lot fiercer. Now that there are two princes searching for wives, Libby struggles not just against the other debutantes but also against the monotony of court life in her new position. With the queen's disapproval aimed squarely in her direction, will she weather the storm to win her prince? ***Please note that this story is the sequel to The Season. Since there are many characters, backstories, and subplots that I won't be able to fully explain in the first few chapters, I strongly recommend you read The Season first!***

"It's like Bloody Mary...only her name is Clara." New school, new friends...and a new game not very many are willing to play. Alex's first week at Ashworth, a boarding school in upstate New York, was something he was slowly getting used to. A school filled with history that still haunted the place...along with the ghost of girl murdered there almost a hundred years before. A game is played by four students the first Friday night of the new school year and this year, Alex was joining in. Not because anyone was forcing him to, but because he had to see what all the hype was about. No other students were willing to risk their sanity, but the four who played before swore they'd seen the girl every time. Too bad Alex believed their minds were only playing tricks on them. He thought the ghost girl was just a story made up by past students. Now, it was time for Alex to play. And there was someone else joining.

Passport? Check. A book of maps of every country in the world? Check. Backpack and small suitcase that contains everything I possess? Check. The world best, international traveling, treasure hunting dad and the most awesome stepmom who is more like my best friend? Check. And new, totally gorgeous English intern of my father's who's tagging along on our next adventure? Double check. Call me, Callie Landon, nerdy and I'd have to totally agree. I mean, how could I not be nerdy when I graduated high school at thirteen and double majored in college and got my bachelor's in both history and international studies by sixteen? Again, just call me nerdy. But I loved my life of travel. I got to see the world with my dad and stepmom, searching for treasure that was thought to be lost for hundreds of years...until we found it, of course. And now we were going on an expedition to find one of the most sought after treasures: the hidden treasure of the infamous pirate Blackbeard. With the three of us, plus Max Knight, my dad's new intern, we were sure we would be able to find it with the help of some clues along the way. But then there are always those other people who just happen to think that they can find it before you and are willing to do anything to stop you. Oh, that's always fun. But then again, it's always fun in the world of treasure hunting. (Book 1 in the My Life Series)

Passport? Check. Book of maps to every country in the world? Check. The world's best treasure hunting dad and the most incredible stepmom? Check. My amazing boyfriend Max who I hadn't seen in over five months? Check! The new crazy guy who's after us? Ugh, check. And my new baby sister who will be here in just a few weeks? Oh, my gosh, check! Call me, Callie Landon, crazy and I'd have to totally agree. How could I not be when I lived with the people that I did? Since Brielle was pregnant, we put our life of travel and treasure hunting on hold for just a little while. But once Dad found another lost treasure that was just too good to pass up, we had to go. The treasure? It was the Nazi gold that was lost after World War II. Today, it was worth almost forty billion dollars. Yeah, that's billion with a B. And since my baby sister was going to be popping out in just a few weeks, Max and I were going to be the ones doing most of the work. Along with Max's best friends Ben and Drew, who were going to help us along the way, it was sure to be fun. Especially when you've got another guy wanting the treasure and government agents on your tail. It was going to be one crazy adventure. Then again, it always was in the world of treasure hunting. Passport? Check. Book of maps to every country in the world? Check. The world's best treasure hunting dad and the most incredible stepmom? Check. My amazing boyfriend of over a year and a half? Check! The same crazy guy who'd been chasing us on our last exploration and the group of other crazy people he's basically teamed up with? Ugh, check. And the newest member of our group, my baby sister Addy, who's going on her very first treasure hunt at the tender age of four months old? Oh, my gosh, check! Call me, Callie Landon, a complete fool and I'd have to totally agree. As to what type of fool, I'd let you know. I was a fool in love, a fool to do what we did every day, a fool to trust Agents Jenna Hudson and Chris Turner when they said that they had another treasure for us to find, one that's only known by the FBI and the government and hadn't gone public. And just what was that treasure? Well, we didn't know. And neither did they. It was apparently life changing, though, so I was guessing pretty big. Our group was going to be bigger on this exploration, that's for sure. And we were adding another, rather unexpected person: Sophie Barnes, who was Max's ex-girlfriend. This treasure hunt was going to be even more dangerous than our others. It was going to full of sneaking into government facilities in other countries, stealing priceless items that were supposed to be heavily guarded, car chases, near kidnappings...and enough dirty diapers to knock out a hundred men just with the smell. It was going to be one crazy adventure. But then again, it always was in the world of treasure hunting. (Book 3 in the My Life Series)
