Before the fame, before the glamor and before the money there was the simple life. A life of uncertainty and a life full of choices. Here are our 8 friends as it began in 1971.

1972. A year full of change. It was a year when a very young, very naive group of friends began to form a loose-knit circle. Anything could happen when you were getting your name out there, trying to be discovered or maybe just trying to take a different path than you thought you would. The uncertainty would make one restless and the familiar could drive one bonkers. Not to mention, the truthfulness revealed over hard apple cider would most certainly change things for good.

Somewhat of a sequel to my previous story. Freddie, Brian, John, and Roger are headed to a college town for a lost weekend.

A spin-off to 'The gig Up North'. It's a Friday night. Another show. Same bar. Same crowd. The difference? Lydia has brought someone for Brian to meet. Autumn: It's a kind of magic. A lot of focus on Brian!

It's New Years Eve. The biggest night of the year. There's nothing that good friends, good food and loads of alcohol can top! Well, there is one thing that would ring in the new year the right way. Lots of Brian!

John and Veronica have made the announcement. The wedding is quickly approaching. January can be the cruelest of months but love is patient and love is kind. Love is having those friends around you who will never let you down. Lots of Brian, Chrissie, Freddie, Mary, Roger, and Lydia.

July has arrived in full force. Freddie, Brian, John and Roger have set out on the road. This was it. The first official tour. Audiences and all. The fame, the glamor, and of course four very special girls. When you're stuck on a bus together for any duration of time, you best be very comfortable with one another. Perhaps even a little too comfortable.

It's a beautiful summer in Kensington but it's an even more beautiful summer in Surrey. The place is Ridge Farm and it would prove to be so much more than just a place to record. What better place to spend with your friends than being captive in the countryside?

The big day has finally arrived! The next big album is on the way, but how does one promote it? There is much happening in the lives of our dynamic eight. The question of what's next arises. So, what is next? Is it a race? Is there a winner? Is there some sort of prize? Or, does life deal you a hand that makes you stop and savor it all for a little while?

News of the World has premiered throughout England receiving rave reception. But record releases always mean lots of travel, lots of commitments and time away; away from the ones you love. It is now time to premiere the album in none other than Los Angeles, California; a seemingly far away place in America. An escape to such a glamorized city, with the elegance of an all-inclusive hotel would bring out the best...and the most daring instincts in people.
