As her treasured ones are ripped out of her life, she befriends one of the men who took her from her village in the first place. When she finds herself falling for him, and everything she's ever loved begins to disappear altogether, Kamaria realises that to liberate her people, it might cost her and her loved ones' lives... This was a story I wrote for a history assignment on the slave trade.
