Captain Rogers didn't expect to find Loki, all wounded up and unconscious and completely defenseless lying limply on the floor, when he broke down HYDRA secret hideout. He didn't expect to take the God of Mischief home, under his care and protection, instead of turning him in to SHIELD like he knew he should. Oh, he certainly didn't expect to take Loki into his life. But life's full of surprises, right? ┈┈ ❋ ┈┈ Or. Steve knows he is a hero. Everybody knows that. What Steve doesn't know is that he might be a certain someone's hero. In which Steve can't stop saving Loki. (But hey, it's not his fault since Loki's very good at getting himself into trouble) **All characters belong to Marvel

It all started from a dumpster behind Midtown High School. "Could this day get any worse?" Peter Parker spoke to himself as he went to the trash receptacle, trying to find his backpack those dudes threw out the window. Holding his nose and scanning the pile of garbage, there were soggy cardboard, last week's lunch, abandoned project from Mister Andrew's class. And there it was! His backpack laying next to a dead man(?) in some sort of black leather and armor clothing with a broken neck. Totally normal.

He was gone. Choked to death by the hand of the Mad Titan. Thor found himself unable to move on for every time he closed his eyes, the haunting image of Loki - struggling to breath air into his burning lungs - flooded through his head it rendered him awake with disturbing holler every single night. So Thor decided to cross the line and commit the forbidden, unholy crime. Anything to bring Loki back. That was, however, until the God of Thunder started to wonder if what he did was the biggest mistake, most selfish thing one could do to their own brother. He started to wonder if it'd be better for Loki to stay dead.
