After arriving to a town with her sister, where she hardly knows anyone, everyday is the same for Maeve Ambrose. She walks by a beautiful forest to her school, trudges through the day, and then walks the same route on her way home. She senses that something is amiss within the forest, especially since her grandma is so keen to remind her to be cautious of it every chance she gets. What Maeve did not expect is to be sucked into another realm once she decides to venture into the forest. A realm that presents her with unknown, magical creatures and a feeling of looming doom in the atmosphere. The mystery and confusion further dwindles once she finds her sister in the midst of it all. Maeve must first maneuver and uncover the secrets of the new world in order to get back to her old one. However, with a malevolent presence that seems to only be after her, will she be able to achieve that?
