Frank Iero is the new kid in school yet again. He just can't seem to get his life on track until a select group of people find themselves getting close to the boy who is constantly getting hurt and getting sent to the ER while not being able to do anything about it. ((It actually gets really good by like chapter thirteen, so just wait it out))

Gerard Way is a virgin. A pathetic, gay, red-haired little virgin. But he was okay with that. People in school avoided him, hell, they didn't even know who he was, and that was how it was. Until a good 'friend' of Gerard's started a rumor. A rumor that was bound to destroy everything Gerard had come to know, and even a little more in the process. Donna and Donald went through a long and horrible divorce, leaving their Children; Gerard and Mikey to pick between parents. Gerard stayed with mom and Mikey went with dad. After about a year, Donna gets a new boyfriend and they get married, leaving Gerard with a new step-brother, much to his despise. But then, Donna gets a horrible phone call one night from the police saying that Frank (Frank's dad) was in an accident and unfortunately didn't make it. She went under extreme depression leaving the two boys with a mother (or step-mother) that was somewhat unstable. So with a mother who was always crying and wallowing in self-pity, will the two boys actually suck it up and talk to each other when there is no one else? And maybe they get too friendly with each other...

Brendon and Ryan always imagined their escape, fantasizing about their happy life was the only thing that kept them distracted from their fears outside of Ryan's apartment and the music shop.
