Steven has become depressed after alot of recent events and he was fed up with all of the gems lies and excuses.So one afternoon when the gems were on a mission Steven comes up with a plan to contact the diamonds with pinks leg ship.

The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began. What if instead of Steven being born with a Rose Quartz as a gem, he was born with a diamond and grew up on homeworld? Joining her on her journey to get back to the elusive Homeworld, Steven starts to realize how much the Gems never told him about it. Takes place a few months after The Trial. So Steven doesn't know he has Pink Diamonds gem yet.
