Fright Night. Tuwing huling Biyernes ng buwan, bago sumapit ang hating gabi ay nagkikita-kita ang magbabarkadang sina Ryan, Ed, Cez, Kai at Joy sa likod ng isang abandonadong gusali sa loob ng subdivision nila. Kung saan naglalaro sila ng mga larong pambata, taya-tayaan, taguan o kaya ay kwentuhan ng katatakutang may kasunod na food trip. Last Friday before their graduation day. Last Fright Night na din ng barkada, dahil pagkatapos ng graduation ay magkakaiba sila ng High School na papasukan. Isang sorpresa ang pagsali sa kanila ni Franco sa gabing iyon. Ang kaklase nilang isang perpekto ng modelo estudyanteng binubully sa eskwelahan. Nerd type. Matagal na nitong gustong sumali sa Friday Trip nila. Sa barkada nila. At ng gabing iyon sy pinagbigyan nila ito. Nang gabing iyon, tagu-taguan ang laro nila, at si Franco ang taya. At ng gabi ding iyon huli nilang nakita si Franco. At dahil sa takot na mapagalitan at mapahamak sa kanya-kanyang magulang, inilihim nila ang Fright Night na nangyari. Nawalang parang bula si Franco sa subdivision. Walang sinoman ang makapagsabi kung nasaan ito. Wala rin silang pinagsabihan na kahit na sino tungkol sa laro nila. At nangako sa isa't isa na kakalimutan ang lahat ng nangyari ng gabing iyon. Walang Fright Night na nangyari. Ga-graduate sila at magiging normal ang buhay ng bawat isa. At hindi nila alam, sa paglahong iyon ni Franco, tila naglaho na rin ang hinaharap nila. Susundan sila ng lihim na ibinaon nila sa limot. Susundan sila nito gaano man sila kalayo at gaano man karaming taon ang lumipas... Takasan man nila ng paulit-ulit, susundan pa din sila ng lihim na itinatago ng bawat isa at darating ang oras na sila din mismo ang hahanap sa sagot sa tanong Kung nasaan si Franco...

One day in class, when my English teacher Mr. Gallie talked to us about Psycho for no other reason that it being the first movie to show a Psycho killer with a knife... or at least I think that's why... because, how can you go from Macbeth to Psycho? Well, maybe except for Duncan's murder... Anyway, I asked him why doesn't anyone make a failed horror movie? You know... one where the killer falls down the stairs while chasing his target... or gets his ass kicked by a teenage girl who knows Kong Fu... And that's why I wrote this story! It starts with my own failed shower scene... But will it end with her death?...
