"Something you want to ask me?" he asks, amused. "Nope," I pop the 'p' sound and don't even spare him a glance. My eyes are transfixed on the city lights and the cool air. "The curiosity prevalent in your eyes begs to differ," Cole states. When did his vocab become so fancy-smancy. No Ara. You will not engage in any conversations with him, I firmly tell myself. "Well, Curiosity killed the cat and I for one do not want to take any chances," I glance at him and his smile is so broad and sends tingles all up and down and all around my spine. He chuckles, "Ask away, Ara." _ Five over protective brothers. Two absent parents. A very charming boy. One girl. Arabella Jenson's life is thrown around with just one announcement. A few words. She finds herself in situations she never thought she would ever face. The only thing she knows is that her brothers will be by her side one hundred percent of the time. 2016 3.20 #614 in Teen Fiction! 4.2 # 471 in Teen Fiction! 8.2 # 501 in Teen Fiction! 2017 1.12 # 443 in Teen Fiction! When Ava and her friends decide to play their own version of "Truth or Dare", Ava winds up kissing someone she never expected... and wanting more? --STORY SAMPLE: When I was closer than a foot from him, I tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smiled. Oh my lord. This guy was even hotter up close. I shoved all the thoughts from my head and said "Hi. My name's Ava." He smiled again and said "Nice to meet you. I'm Zander." That's all he could say before I kissed him. He immediately tensed up, but then he did something I didn't expect. He kissed me back and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer. I opened my mouth a little in shock, and his tongue went in my mouth. He tasted like rainwater and peppermint. Despite myself, I moaned a little when he deepened the kiss even further. After what felt like 2 hours, we broke apart. "I'm sorry," he said blushing a little "but it just kinda clicked." he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I said, also starting to blush a little. For 2 minutes the awkward just settled between us, and I swear it was tangible. He broke the silence first, finally meeting my eyes and not staring at his high-tops. "So...", he started and chuckled nervously "Could I get your number?" I stared at him for a second wondering if it would even be a good idea, when he said "I know we don't know each other, but I felt fireworks just now, and even if we don't go on a date, I'd love to see you again." I just smiled and asked for his phone. ------- Remember to vote, follow, comment, etc. :) FOLLOW MY NEW INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT @felicitybwrites

{#1 in teenagers} {#2 in fiction} {#2 in popular} "You better not tell anyone about this." "Aw why not? I'm sure your fandom of desperate girls would love to know that their precious prince charming needs a babysitter." I smile innocently back at his death glare. "I'm serious, nerd. I could make your life hell." ------------------------------------------------------------ Marnie Jones is an ordinary 11th grader. Her only intentions are to get good grades and save money for college with her babysitting job. Everything is going to plan. Until she gets a job babysitting the high school bad boy, Zeke Blakely. The two come from complete different social groups, and Marnie automatically hates Zeke and his big ego and cocky attitude. He's a player. He's dangerous. He's reckless. She's safe with an overthinking problem. As the two are seen hanging around school together, attention gets drawn to Marnie. Which she hates. But she also catches the eye of a handsome jock, too. And why, you ask, does a 17 year old boy need a babysitter? You'll have to read to find out. WARNING: contains vulgar language and mature scenes.
