By the time she was 6, she discovered she had a unique visual ability. She could see glimpses of the future. But, as a side effect, she becomes blind for a period of time after each vision. A blind shinobi isn't practical, exspecialy when her visions are sporadic. After years of being an Anbu Captain, maybe it's time for her to become a Jōnin sensei. After she is placed on a team with an old teammate, she is thrown into a new life of teaching and learning from her new students. Her past still haunts her, and her future is undetermined. All she can do is live in the now. All rights go to the creater of Naruto, Kishimoto Sensei. And Himiko goes to me!

Shikamaru's elder sister, Y/n Nara, disappeared at age 16. As a known friend to Itachi, her whereabouts become a concern for the Leaf Village. Y/n has a clan kekkei genkai that hasn't reappeared in the bloodline since the founder of the Nara clan, making her the strongest of the Nara's and somone the village has high hopes for. Now that she's home, is there someone who can get her to stay? ••• The story ends in a place that makes sense, so I'm pausing updates for awhile. Might come back and add more to it, might not. It's complete enough as is tho:) ••• To explain the ages, Y/n is the same age as Itachi meaning Kakashi is 8 years older and Shikamaru is 5 years younger. Y/n returns to the village at 18, so hopefully that helps with the age difference between her and Kakashi. ••• There are a million Naruto based fanfics, but I had to add my own. I love it too much not to. I'm not watching the anime currently, so the timeline and scenes might not be perfect. But, it'll be close enough and the story will still be good af. Meiko Sarutobi is the younger sister of Asuma Sarutobi, and a complete troublemaker. During the day, she is a beautiful, funny, sweet, and all around amazing girl to be around. But when night comes, she becomes a reckless teenager with a bad attitude. Her name changes from Meiko to 'Six.' Her and her friends are responsible for a lot of vandalism through out Konoha, a group known as "The Kids in The Dark." But as time goes along, Meiko is forced to finally become a ninja, but this shouldn't be that bad, right? Wrong. Meiko will face death, pain, and romance with someone that she frankly couldn't stand.
