Seitdem Nico mit 13 Jahren auf der Straße gelandet ist, ging es mit ihm bergab. Alkohol und Drogen fingen an, immer wichtigerere Rollen in seinem Leben zu spielen. Sie trieben ihn in die Depressionen und schließlich in den Suizid. Das war zumindest der Plan. Zahlreiche Therapien und Psychatrieaufenthalte später, schafft Nico es aus der Drogensucht hinaus zu kommen und findet eine neue Leidenschaft: die Kunst. Mit einem mehr schlecht als Recht sicheren Halt im Leben geht er seinem neuen Hobby nach: illegal! Sein Leben bleibt jedoch grau, trist und eintönig, bis er Will trifft, der plötzlich Farbe und Aufregung in seine Welt der Grautöne bringt.
