He placed the wine glass on the table and shifted his gaze to me, "It's a deal." His face broke into a small smile as he stretched his hand out to me. Hesitantly, I shook his. "I hope this goes as intended," I sighed. "Surely," he said, drawing his hand away from mine. "As long as you keep your head in the game and don't grow feelings for me, Ms Pearl." He sneered. "Oh please," I rolled my eyes at him. "I should be the one saying that," I scoffed. The smirk he had on his face, faded into a light frown. "Just to get it out there, Ms Pearl. You are not my type." He said as his gaze bored into mine. ~~~~~~~ For Pearl, the last thing she could ever imagine was faking a relationship with no other, but Billionaire Onyekachi Phillips, a man who came from wealth but broken. But then, there was no better option, all she wanted to do was drive her ex away, the same ex who ghosted her three years ago. Putting up with Kachi's arrogant personality was one thing, but falling in love with him was something she wasn't prepared for and that, she was determined not to let happen. Wealthy Onyekachi Phillips was a man with everything, anyone could wish for. Abundant wealth, good looks, a girlfriend that he loved and a daughter he cherished, but not until his girlfriend shattered his heart and love became poison to him. It was two years later and yet women, love and marriage were still the last thing on his mind but unfortunately for him, they were the only thing his mother wanted for him. Trying to escape one of his mother's attempts to find him a wife, he lied about a non-existent relationship, but not until she requested to meet his new girlfriend. "I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle," I grumble. Blake pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well, you got it in anyway, Darling," he whispers. His face is inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at the corner of my eye I spot Owen and his gang approaching. Well, that's just great. *** The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fighting with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Blake. West-side gang leader. Leather jacket and killer glare. Don't talk back. Owen. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resist. And in comes Amber. Hair of gold and oceans in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into the middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they're really dealing with. And when Amber descovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game. *** "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Rhodes. I'll take that bet on the golden girl." *** COMPLETED FICTION AWARDS: Best new story and best new account Highest ranking in Teen Fiction: #1 on 25/06/2018

Don't read unless you've read the last chapter of I Hate Cliche, because you will be spoiled just warning you. "I do," I whisper staring up into his big green eyes. Tears are forming in the corner of both of our eyes. The biggest smile is plastered on my face and the goofiest grin on his. The priest smiles nodding and turning to him, "Do you, Abe, take Rose to be your lawfully wedded wife in sickness and in health til death do you part?" "I do," Abe smiles his perfect smile that is the same of our now two year old, Eliza. She has my eyes and hair, and his everything else. She's perfect. The second half to my everything. "By the power invested in me by the city of Seattle I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," The priest takes a step back gesturing to us as Abe and I kiss. That magical kiss every girl dreams of. The sparks, butterflies, the whole sha-bang. It's perfect, he's perfect. We turn to look at our audience. My parents, family, and extended family all on he right side clapping with smiles on their faces. My mum is crying a little along with my dad. Uncle Harry nods at me giving me a thumbs up. Jane, Leanne, and Melanie of course are my brides maids. They all flew out to Seattle for me and I'm forever thankful. I've missed everyone dearly but as far as I can tell this is where I belong. Alex, he never responded. Too busy with his soccer career I guess. Too busy for the girl he used to love and the girl that used to love him.
