A vampire (Roman), a kitsune (magical shapeshifting fox)((Logan)), a fairy (Patton), and a demon wizard (Virgil) are trying out the mortal world yet without knowing that their roommates aren't mortals I DO NOT OWN MOST OF THE CHARACTERS I DO NOT OWN THE ART EITHER I ONLY OWN THE PLOT! Virgil gave up his freedom years ago. He and his parents continued living in exchange for singing (among... other things) for the King. He doesn't regret it. That is until three visiting royals turn his world upside down and, for this first time since he was 10, he suddenly wants something other than for his parents to stay alive. Virgil doesn't understand and, neither do the others but, love is not meant to be easy and Virgil, he's learned that the hard way.

*Some Time Ago* *??? POV* ???: NO! DON'T HURT THEM! I'LL DO ANYTHING JUST LEAVE THEM ALONE! The women in front of me stops for a second. ?: Hmm... Interesting, what do you propose? I will protect them. ???: My life for theirs. I'd trade my life for theirs anyday. Without hesitation. ?: How do you know I won't kill them once you're gone? She takes another step towards them, her hand glowing a deep red. ???: You may be evil, but you're always loyal to you're deals. She thinks for a bit. ?: Alright, fair enough. We have a deal. She walks towards me with her hand now glowing blue and reaches out. I can hear them yelling, but I will protect them. ???: Deal. We shake hands. I immediately start screaming and fall to my knees. I use my last bit of strength to glance over at them. They're gone. That means they're safe and back home. I smile lightly as I black out. *?? POV* ??: Such a selfless act that deserves to rewarded. (oof) Tom is a normal guy hanging with his normal friends. At least, that's what he wants them to believe. Due to his "unique" appearance, he was tested on after his parents died. Unfortunately, one of those tests failed miserably, and now Tom is stuck with a horrid demon in his body, one that only activates if he is afraid. Not being afraid is hard, especially for him. Even though he's gotten better at controlling his fears, he worries for Edd and Matt when they fight. He knows it's because of him. Edd has been more abusive and furious with Tom with each passing day. And it's hard not being afraid when Tord joins the picture. As his childhood bully, it isn't hard to not have fears about him.
