Seventeen year old Averly Cansdale,a senior in Vandenberg High is someone who people would call ' a ray of sunshine.' She's sweet, helpful and lights up a room ,but is also fluent in sarcasm and has an overly active imagination. Adriel Winters has just joined Vandenberg High for his senior year, and is written off as a 'bad boy' owing to his looks and well, his obsession with leather jackets. Averly's confusion regarding a Cafe and a dog's keen interest in her becomes the prologue of their story, but it's upto them to fill the remaining pages.
