She was turned by her ex-boyfriends younger brother. She dated Elijah Mikaelson. She was best friends with his siblings but was closer to Klaus. After an incident, Klaus turned her. Somehow resulting in Elizabeth becoming an Original Tribrid. She quickly mastered her species and is now just like the Mikaelson family. It is also discovered that Elizabeth is a doppelgänger. Born just a little before Elena Gilbert. No one knows how she and Elena were born around the same time rather than every 500 years. Elizabeth Swan uses her gifts to protect her family and loved ones. She knew of the cold one species because she came across a few of them. Both fortunate and unfortunately. Because of her human features, she throws The Cullens off when they meet the Swan sisters and they could tell she wasn't human by her scent.
