We all know the fairy tale: a princess gets locked in a tower by a dreadful dragon and is rescued by a fair prince, swept away to go live out her happily ever after with a man she just met. Right? Wrong. The dragon was, in fact, the princess's closest friend. So, when the prince brutally butchers the creature, she is understandably upset. Rather than swoon at his feet or offer him a token of her gratitude, the princess takes up her own sword and swears revenge on the man who took her best friend from her. And nothing will stop her.

Once upon a time, a princess disappeared from her bedroom. No one knew where she was, or what had happened to her. Years later, the princess's older sister is kidnapped, by a fierce dragon. She suspects that the dragon may have had something to do with her sister's disappearance... but does it? Is the dragon all that it seems, or is it something both more beautiful and terrible than an ordinary kidnapper? (Honorable Mention in Once Upon's Dragon Princess Contest)
