They weren't normal in the slightest, in fact, most of them weren't even human. Nevermind the fact that only one of them was straight (as far as they could remember anyway). It wasn't an ideal family, they argued more than most and most of them were fucked in the head. But it was family. Their little family from hell. - By Shawm

"You done yet?" A voice fell into the room, impatient, brash, and accompanied by the faint smell of smoke, meaning it could only be one of them. "No, and neither are you, don't you have a job to do?" Shawm asked, without turning around. There was a chuckle, closer than before, which meant that Cookie had entered the room- without permission- rather than lingering in the hallway like she normally would. There was the tell-tale click of the sturdy door shutting, blocking out the sounds of the house. Something was wrong. By Cookie

C, well, she's different. Not in the stereotypical female protagonist way where she's 'different' and 'special'. No, C is different because she likes to hang out at the flower shop in the back ally that only opens at the dead hours of the night and seems grows their wares via neon bulbs. Ty and Alex are different as well. Again, not in the stereotypical way, but in they're different because they love to traipse the streets of the city when even the dead aren't awake in search of adventures they're too skittish to take part in. C knows about these mischievous adventures, they're the biggest source for gossip at the little flower shop after all. And she's taken it upon herself to find them, and finally drag them into one of those damn adventures they seem to always stumble upon. Written by Shawm

Dyl, a long-suffering police officer, never expected that exchanging letters with a known criminal whom they were supposed to be catching and keeping said letters hidden instead of turning them in as evidence would cause so much trouble for them. Maybe they should have seen this coming. (Inspiration: https://archiveofourown.org/works/5536925) By Cookie
