1938. One year before the start of WW2. Gon Freecss. A young man only 18 years old has decided to enlist in the British Armed Service. He wishes to find his father Ging Freecss. A Four Star General of the Army. Will his choice take him down the path to his father? Meanwhile in another place we meet the Austrian 18 year old Killua Zoldyck. He comes from a line of famous mercenaries who worked for whoever they wanted, for the right price. He has been raised and trained for war and combat. But no amount of preparation can let him be ready for the coming war. Disclaimer: Sensitive subjects of the Second World War will be present. Killua and Gon decide to meet up after a year of being apart. Alluka insists that Killua should go alone, so they could have time alone to catch up. When Killua meets up with Gon, his feelings for the other was about to explode. What they don't know is that they are both in love with each other. Will they confess their feelings to each other. Or will Killua keeps his hidden forever?

Killua finally works up the courage to tell Gon how he feels. But his plan doesn't go as arranged. Read this fan fiction if you love Killugon. A few third person POVS but this is mainly a Killua POV.
