Sokka puts his infatuation with Zuko down to frustration and anger as he travels alongside Aang and his sister. Zuko equally believes that his desire to face Sokka is so he can dominate him. Yet, as they continue to face each other in countless battles and unsavoury meetings, something begins to brew in the enemies. (Don't be alarmed if you see this on Ao3, I'm posting it there, too. My usernames just aren't the same !!)

This AU takes place in modern day. Zuko works in his uncle's tea shop, and goes to school like any normal kid. Aang, Toph, Katara, and Sokka all met at the tea shop were they all became friends back 5 years ago. zuko, katara, and sokka are 16- Aang and Toph are 15. Zuko is well known at the shop and most people like him, but at school hes known as a freak because of his scar. In this AU his dad abused him and burnt his face with acid, zuko know lives with his uncle, his dads in jail, and mom died awhile ago.✋None of these characters/Pictures belong to me!!!🤚

This takes place during atla where zuko gets banished by his father after he comes out as gay not by refusing to fight him together zuko and iroh travel to find the avatar to teach him fire bending so he can stop the war and zuko can create a world where you can be who you want to be and he can finally find love, sokka is also trying to find love and end the war what happens when these two meet and help the avatar on its journey I will be including sokka's love interests like Suki but it will be slightly different leave any suggestions you might have hope you enjoy
