Their father has hardly been in their lives, his job as a drug dealer requiring him to disappear for long periods of time and causing them to move around a lot. But when their dad finally gets arrested, a man named Bobby Singer takes the boys in and enrolls them in a more permanent school. And as if his father's incident wasn't hard enough on him, Dean begins to question his sexuality when he meets quiet, introverted, and (he must admit) quite cute Castiel.

Castiel Novak and Dean Wincheter lead normal lives until they were sent to fight in the Battle of Shiloh. When Castiel gets lost, he stumbles upon Dean and they become good fiends. Eventually, more than good friends. But life takes a turn and things have to be done.

After Sam's discovery of "Destiel" from those girls who did that musical at that school based on the Winchester Gospels that one time, he reads fan fiction and shows Dean, just to piss him off. But he discovers another ship in his reading. And are those feelings which are being declared in the works of fiction, true?
