a storm in my head, i've got a million words to say. a book where I pen the storm into words.

I consider these poems to be a reflection of what I have heard, seen, and some even experienced myself. It might bring you the comfort you needed or strip your walls down to feel your emotions. To me they are a type of journal that I put in emotions that I myself was experiencing at the time or someone around me was. WARNING- Some themes might not be suitable if you are easily triggered These poems belong to me and no-one else

This is just a collection of poems that I wrote, telling about the challenges we all face in life. In a way, it kind of tells a story but to me it will always be like a way to vent out my frustration and retell the story of my life.

I wrote this poem in 1987 during the time of the Ethiopian famine. Last year I changed a couple lines, and this is my updated version. When I first wrote this poem I was only 18 years old and hadn't had children yet. Now after nursing 7 children, I realize the mother in the poem was also dying because she didn't have enough calories herself to produce breast milk for her baby. This collection of poems/stories deals with world wide issues and life struggles. I have poems or stories on most of these subjects, but just gradually publishing them. I usually write poems that other readers might relate to, but I realize that some material will be sensitive to some readers. Please note: not trying to offend anyone.
