Soulmate AU For your childhood, you live a normal life. With parents, with friends, with those little markings on the wall that tell you how tall you are, how much you've grown. But, that all stops at age 18. Once you turn 18, you stop aging, growing. Years can go by, and you look as though not a day has passed. That is, until you find your soulmate. When you find your soulmate, you begin to age once more. Growing old only once you've found the one your heart truly belongs to, and you age together. Some never stop growing, having known their soulmate since they were small; yet others wait for centuries, hoping that one day, they might finally find the one for them. Roman is a prince from the Renaissance, and after waiting almost a thousand years, is losing hope that he'll ever find his princess. Virgil is a young musician, who did have a boyfriend, and Virgil loved him very dearly. But one day, his boyfriend left, as he begun to age when he met a barista at a coffee shop. Virgil has despised soulmates since. Patton is the boyfriend of a young lady, as he found he was half an inch taller a day after he met her. He tells his roommate of 3 weeks all about her. Logan moved to LA for his PhD, not at all looking for his soulmate. He's never been interested in love, as the longer he can stay on this earth, the more knowledge he can obtain, and knowledge is really all he cares about. By no logical reason would Logan (logic) and Patton (Morality) ever be considered friends let alone anything more than that. In high school people stick to their own groups: nerds or geeks, jocks, musicians, artists, skateboarders, you name it! Nobody ever breaks form their group and mingles with another. Logan is one said geek, although, he never really talks to others much and would much prefer to be reading or conducting one of his many experiments. Patton is one of, if not the, nicest kid in school. He's the one always sitting at the long table at lunch happily asking you to donate your extra change to whatever charity was decided for that day. He only had a few close friends, but people tend to flock to him because of his cheerful personality. What happens when these two completely opposite people start to spend some time together? // COMPLETED // Ah-hem . . . Because I'm garbage and bored: An unoriginal and probably predictable/cliché AU where the Sanders Sides all go to high school together! Virgil is the new kid in town, and when the four sides are placed in the same group for chemistry, developing relationships and drama ensues. Roman is forced to face the skeletons in his closet, the new kid in town takes a liking to Patton, and both Virgil and Logan struggle to maintain control of themselves and their feelings as they are flung out of their comfort zones. (Prinxiety & Logicality) I do say in my first chapter that the shipping will be light. What I mean by that is that it's pretty much just fluff but, let's be honest, the whole plot basically revolves around this romance thing. It ain't light.
