On a softer note Killer frost seems to be extremely attracted to Barry which causes Caitlin to feel an attraction to him as well.

She find herself being controlled by someone, she's becomes involved in a love triangle, and is on the brink of death. This is basically a snowbarry story I wanted to write. It's set in Season 5 of The Flash. Barry comes to terms with his feelings for Caitlin but it seems there's always something or someone is blocking his path.

Based on the recent events which have occurred, like Barry Allen seeing in the speed force, Caitlin and Ronnie's baby and wanting to be his. Moreover the fact he broke up with Iris. Barry thought maybe Iris wasn't the right person for him and maybe someone else was... All these events brought Barry and Caitlin closer to each other and that's what kick-started their love story...
