Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo has always had a rough relationship, to say the least. Katsuki always hated Izuku, or as he calls him, "Deku", for being a quirkless nobody. His hatred grew even more once Midoriya received his quirk and started attending UA. Bakugo and Midoriya are jealous of one another and that's why they have trouble communicating. Say one of them breaks their arm, the other wouldn't have a broken arm as well, they would simply be feeling the exact same amount of pain the other is feeling. It's a extremely scary part of having a soulmate since they would be able to feel if their soulmate is being beat but wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Izuku Midoriya is both excited for having a soulmate but also mortified to have one. The boy is abused on the daily and cuts extremely often. The idea of having someone share that pain with him haunts him every night. But it also gives him hope. Hope that someone is out there that could help him get out of the terrible cycle he has begun. Unfortunately, Izuku hits rock bottom just days before his 17th birthday, will his soulmate be able to pull him out of this vicious cycle?
