It's November 10th, 2039 in Michigan, Detroit. Gavin Reed, a thirty-six year old detective, encounters a new homicide partner. A newly activated android who is known as Connor's brother. The human finds himself in difficulty in understanding how to communicate with his partner at the same time working alongside with the android. Nines, an android model RK900 had been recently activated, before being reactivated had experienced a traumatic event thus deciding to avoid verbal communication. He finds himself managing a balance between settling in to being free and overcoming his old trauma.

Summary: When Gavin, a lone avian who was bored of his homeland, decides to fly out to explore the open ocean, he has no idea about the dangers awaiting him. After getting caught right in the middle of a raging storm, the avian finds himself receiving help from nobody other than a siren named Nines.
