De nos jours il peut être difficile de se faire une place parmi les autres. Pour Saya c'était pareil, elle ne savait pas vraiment comment s'y prendre avec les autres après son déménagement à Tokyo. Le fait d'avoir quitté aussi brutalement la région de Miyagi ne l'avait pas vraiment aidé. Heureusement elle peut compter sur ses amis, Kenma et Kuroo avec qui elle est depuis le collège. Cependant sa routine est quelque peu perturbée depuis que ces deux-là, ainsi que le reste de l'équipe, ont pour but de la faire devenir leur manager.
