#1 in lams as of 8/30/19 John Laurens was known for being that one kid who always had something for helping others. Always. He was a nice kid. Whether it be just simply talking to them or playing a song on his ukulele for them, it would 99% of the time work. Alexander Hamilton was a tough case, though. Kind of a loner, some might say. Barely even speaking to others and always having his arms covered by long sleeves. Even in the summertime. What happens when their worlds collide? --- I'm not the best at descriptions or stories so sorry in advance if this sucks. Cover image not mine. "So, you're my new roommate. I guess we should introduce ourselves, huh?" "That we should." John extended his hand towards the young man, who shook it. "Laurens. John Laurens. What's your name?" The young man gave a cheeky smile. "Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton." ~~~ It's John's junior year of college and he couldn't be happier. A chance to get away from home and be himself, college is more than an education, its freedom. Alongside him, Alexander is starting his freshman year of college, and he's terrified. Presented with an opportunity to escape a dark past and lonely life, Alex believes it might be too good to be true. When the two are set to be college roommates, their friendship begins easily, but in the face of confusion and new feelings, will John be able to show Alexander the brighter side of life? And will Alexander be able to help John come to terms with his own past as well?
