Dual POV This story starts off right after Max made the choice to sacrifice Arcadia Bay, leaving only her and Chloe as survivors. Without anywhere else to go, the duo hit the open road, desperate to run away from their past. Life is hard, and over the next few years, the weight of their consequences slowly start to affect her and Chloe's lives mentally and emotionally. Although she still has her powers, Max promised Chloe never to use them, but that doesn't stop the brunette from slipping up, especially when true danger presents itself which is more often than not. Karma sure seems to have it out for them. Have Max and Chloe finally escaped the grips of their past, or is there a bigger storm yet to come? (*Written and Publish before "Before The Storm" and "Life is Strange 2". Expect some inconsistencies / Will Include some References) (Updated up until Chapter 43. The rewrite will continue on FF.net and Ao3) Now on Ao3 and FF.net!

A home can be made in any old building, though when the Watsons move into an abandoned church they discover that not all past uses can be erased. With the mournful statues of saints hiding in the shadowed corners and the lingering smell of candle smoke, the foreclosed church begins to feel more like a hallowed out irony than any place to start a family. More troublesome than not, the stubborn priest still lives next door, his smug face peering through the curtains to judge the 'heathens' who had taken over his place of worship. However Father Holmes may not be prepared to have such young, enthusiastic neighbors. Until, of course, a bothersome creature from Hell decides to step in and make them a bit more compatible. Time itself never leaves, and each moment of humanity is stamped upon the surface of the earth to play like a film, overlapping upon its predecessor and getting squished by the next second to pass. The layers of the existence of man have been stacked upon each other and forgotten for years, until Sherlock Holmes opened his eyes to see what the rest of the world forgot. With such power, the race not only to see the past, but to enter it, spurs conflict and consequences beyond anyone's wildest expectations. Johnlock
