As war rages between the Saurian Legion and the Cat Folk invaders, a stranger drifts into a quiet little village hoping to leave a life of crime behind. He soon finds that is easier said than done. Meanwhile, a terrible menace descends on the village, and he finds himself having to face the demons from his past, and must decide how much he is willing to sacrifice for absolution.

The island is dying, the world is ending. Isolated in a tiny colony on the edge of the island's shore Nightlily never imagined that her entire life is on the brink of spinning out of control. Then one day when a strange white cat with uncanny eyes comes screaming about fire raining from the sky. No one believes her, not even Nightlily, but come nightfall the young cat cannot sleep and goes for a walk with a friend. That decision catapults them headfirst into an adventure that neither of them wanted.
