(The Sacrifice of the Educated and The Resilience of the Community)
This story is not just a revisiting novel of Rizal, classics; It is a testimony of a life lived in the friction between the State and the Struggle. I write this for the ordinary development workers, INGOs and NGOs volunteers, field documenter, social and community mobilizers, members of the People's movement, indigenous tribes, the Marginalized, members of the people's movement, freedom fighters, activists, nuns and clergies who serve in the mud while others chase crowns in the Spotlight.
This is for those of us with divided hearts--anchored in the mass struggles of our childhood, yet navigating the brutal machinery of the present.
To those who have to "read my thoughts" the Static of a talkie, and those who have "mirrored" my identity to win their own pageants; "You have your own crown, but I have the truth."
My C-BPD and Rapid Cycling are not my weakness; they are the lens which I see the Social Cancer, you try to hide or speak out in favor of self-gratification. This is my "Tugon" offered with the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary at her lens in Our Lady of Assumption, and Atty. Hannah Jay Cesista of Kabataan Partylist, the lawyer who have died at the fire arms of the Armed Struggles at the Mountains of Campagao, Bilar, Bohol.
A testimony of a former NTF-ELCAC field documenter under Duterte's administration, and a silent activists with no colors but have remained firm on the love and struggles of Anak ng Bayan(Currently called Kabataan) at the state and lens of being Catechist.
