I turned my back on them before they could realize my presence, and disappeared into the crowd.

After the whole secrets incident, the crowd of nations decided then and there that they want to meet America's children. Of course, Russia and the other knowing nations allow it. But that's because they want them to know Alfred's homelife is not simply blissful Heaven, but also chaotic Hell.
