Keegan's the type of guy that's afraid to steal his neighbor's Wi-Fi. And in a city overrun with hunky new superheroes with more to hide than just their identities, crazy science teachers threatening to end all life on earth and, well, parents, that might not be the best character trait to have. Mix in the fact that there's a new villain who is as cunning as he is photogenic, a health hazardous best friend and having a massive-not-a-crush on a guy who doesn't even know you have superpowers and this may be the most awkward junior year of high school in history.

I just smirked at the way they all looked down on me. The way they all try to trip me down and glare like they can kill me with one look. I could easily laugh their stupidity and small minds as I make it through the day the way I've always done it. By myself. With no friends. No family. I don't cry myself to sleep hoping that my prince will come and save me... I don't beg those dimwitted jocks to stop giving me a hard time whenever they get the chance. I don't try to fit in when the person I'll hurt the most is myself by lying. I don't wish that my dead parents will come back when I know they won't. I don't do this because I, Carter Summers, am a strong willed person that knows the sad fact that this.... This... is my reality..... When Carter gets a small request from a teacher for his creative way of writing. He temporarily joins the newspaper club to gain extra credit to assure his scholarship. His job is to answer questions from the entire Newton High's students and give them advice. But since the entire population hates him for being homosexual, he does this in secret by answering within the papers, and goes by the name of... Reality. ***Cover by RougeHopes*** #19 in Teen Fiction

*Spinoff/Sequel of Lab Partners (Recommended you read Lab Partners first but not required.)* "You know, you shouldn't smoke those things," I spoke softly, referring to the cigarette perched between his teeth. The pale light of the moon made his skin glow like an ethereal light, while his black hair shone like pure obsidian. "And why not?" he asked tiredly, letting the poisonous smoke escape his lips as he looked up at the stars. "They'll kill you," I said honestly, finally looking away from him to peer up at the brilliant night sky. He took the opportunity to turn his stunningly blue gaze back to me. He studied me lazily for a few minutes before asking, "And what if I want to die?" I looked down, straight into his eyes, and asked, "What if I don't want you to?" *This is a bxb book. Jordan isn't exactly the kind of person Elliot's used to having as a lab partner, but when they start acing their assignments, life is suddenly about more than boring lectures, bad cafeteria nachos, or relentless bullying. And then one night, the butterflies start to make sense - the trouble is, now nothing else does.
